Consumers searching in the moment expect consistent local information at their fingertips, and with 77% of mobile searches related to the food and beverage industry, it's more important than ever for food service brands to stay current with their online marketing strategies – and that includes providing accurate location information everywhere consumers search.

During last week's FSTEC Conference in Dallas, marketers gathered to discuss the latest technologies and innovations shaping the restaurant and food industries, including mobile marketing, IoT, search, and more.

Miller emphasized the shift in consumer search behavior, discussed new uses of geolocation technology – such as Snapchat Geofilters and Pokémon Go – as well as how to utilize structured data to reach consumers in moments that matter.
