Yext, the digital knowledge management pioneer, announced that former Chief Technology Officer of the United States Megan Smith will take the stage to keynote Yext's annual conference, ONWARD.

Smith will share her perspective on how technological advances, combined with network ecosystems, will create opportunities and challenges for all sectors, including policymakers, and continue to change our daily lives. As the third Chief Technology Officer of the U.S., Smith helped President Obama and his teams harness the power of technology, data, and innovation to tackle some of the nation's most pressing issues, from data science, AI and open source, to inclusive economic growth, and criminal justice reform. Prior to her role as U.S. CTO, Smith served as a Vice President of Google[x], in the leadership team on Google's moonshot projects, and as Vice President of New Business Development, where she led key acquisitions including Google Earth, Maps, and Picasa. Smith is an award-winning entrepreneur, engineer, and tech evangelist.

"Megan Smith is one of America's leading technologists, and her achievements in technology, innovation, and philanthropy continue to inspire," said Jeffrey Rohrs, Chief Marketing Officer of Yext. "There's no more perfect person to help our ONWARD attendees grasp the full impact of a future increasingly reliant on intelligent services and collaborative networks."

Set for November 1st through 3rd at The Conrad New York, the event will bring leaders together from across industries to discuss "The Intelligent Future" and its impact on their digital knowledge management efforts, their brands, and their careers. During the three days, speakers from over 50 companies including Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Yext, and more will share their insights on how marketers must adapt to the rise of digital assistants, location-based technologies, machine learning, self-driving cars, and voice search.

"The age of intelligent services has fundamentally altered the way we live our lives," said Howard Lerman, Co-founder and CEO of Yext. "ONWARD will convene the world's leading businesses to discuss what this transformation means for the world, and Megan is one of the inclusive Intelligent Future's leading voices."

ONWARD registration is now open to Yext customers, partners, and invited guests. Tickets are limited, so for more information, sponsorship inquiries or to purchase tickets, please visit ONWARD2017.com.
